The Wahl Professional 5 Star Vapor Switch Cord/Cordless Clipper is built for barbers who want complete control over every cut. Combining dual-speed performance, an adjustable balding blade and Wahl’s innovative Rapid Switch lever, the Vapor Switch adapts effortlessly from bulk removal to detailed fading and blending.
Powered by the new HyperShift™ 2-Speed Brushless Motor, barbers can switch between 7,000 RPM for controlled bulk removal and 9,000 RPM for detailed blending and fading. Adaptive Speed Control™ automatically adjusts the motor to different hair types, delivering consistent cutting performance throughout the service.
The new F32 Drift™ Adjustable Balding Blade features internal oil grooves designed to reduce friction for cooler, smoother cutting. Black PVD chrome and DLC coatings help the blade stay sharp up to 4x longer than standard steel blades, while its 0.5–1.2mm cutting range makes it ideal for seamless balding, close fades and precision work.
Wahl’s patent-pending Rapid Switch Metal Lever lets you instantly move between five click positions or free-flow adjustment without tools, giving you the freedom to customise the clipper to your cutting technique. At just 288g, the slim, balanced housing is designed for comfortable, controlled cutting throughout busy days behind the chair.
With up to 3.5 hours cordless runtime, USB-C charging, an included charging stand and a 5-minute quick charge providing 10 minutes of runtime, the Vapor Switch is engineered for professional performance without slowing you down.
